for my record

More for my record than for the enjoyment of my five readers, here is what is going on at our house.

Adam is getting so big. He is eating all regular food now and won't tolerate more than a bite of baby food except to take his prevacid. He goes to bed at 7 and wakes up at 6ish. Lately this has been 5, but we are hoping it's just a tooth. He takes two naps of an hour each. He is cruising furniture and loves to climb. Little menace likes to bother his sisters and much to their dismay, he can get to them wherever they are.
Layla goes to bed at 7:30 and wakes up at 7:30. She naps for 2 hours. She is very loud! Maybe she has hearing loss from so many infections? or Maybe she is just loud. She loves to be rocked still and have attention from mommy. She rides a bike and can jump, throw and kick like a much older kid. She is getting skinny despite being a good eater so it is just her time to thin down. She is a sweet sweet baby.
Hannah goes to bed at 8 and wakes at 6. She doesn't nap most days, but falls asleep in the car in the afternoon if we are out and about. She makes friends easily and is a born leader. She is smart and witty. She loves to play pretend games.
Matt and I take turns sleeping in until 7:30 or 8 on the weekends. We LOVE our sleep in days. We try to keep the kids quiet until the other wakes up. It's a challenge, but we do pretty good. During the week, we always take the time to play, swing, and take walks as a family. Our nights are busy, but we really enjoy spending those hours together. When Matt travels, I still take a nightly walk with the kids. When it gets cold or raining, we will use that time to play in the basement or make forts out of blankets. Kids love forts!

The little ones get a bath every night and Hannah gets in most days (every other at the minimum). My kids love going to bed so bedtime is rarely a struggle. They tell me when it is time for bed usually.
Everyone is healthy right now and has been for a long time (knock on wood). We are hoping for a healthy winter.
We have a busy couple of months ahead with lots of exciting outings. This should make for some great blog posts!
