Where have we been?

Hmmm - Where to begin.

Well the weekend after Easter started a whirlwind at our house. I had the stomach flu.......Then Hannah had the stomach flu.........then the baby got sick again with some mystery illness that made him not sleep and screem all day. After rishing him to the doctor twice, they found nothing. We upped his reflux meds and moved on.
Fast forward 1 week. Layla got the stomach flu and was sick the entire night before the super fun magic house birthday party. Hannah still enjoyed herself. The baby got a little better, but still was sleeping like crap.

He did however learn to sit up so we were very proud.

We gave him his first cup when he didn't drink much for a day or two. He loved to chew it.

The crash diet did not effect his thighs.

and the warmer weather led to the official feet discovery.

So after beingup all night Saturday with Layla, we thought things were better and were determined to teach the baby to sleep all night. Sunday night he did terrible as expected - we were tired. Monday night we woke up to Layla throwing up again: which she did 20+ times. She has rotovirus and is still struggling today. Today is day 4 of "baby sleep all night" training and we are hoping for success within a few days. We deserve it.
I took super cute pictures of Adam tonight that I will try to post tomorrow.

Chocolate for breakfast

This is what happens when you give a 1 year old chocolate for breakfast.

Easter

We colored eggs yesterday and it was a blast. Layla lasted for only 2 eggs, but she did great. Hannah patiently glittered all the rest of the eggs.

Our Easter Egg hunt was a big success. The girls found their 40 candy filled eggs in record time. We didn't hide them very hard, but next year it's going to get tougher.

Adam even found an egg in his saucer.

More to come from our afternoon Easter egg hunt at Tia's! We alone filled over 60 eggs, so it should be a blast.

More Easter Fun

Adam hates it when Layla cries. Last weekend in his baby carseat!

The bunny is not so scary when your daddy has you.
Hard fought pictures of the girls dressed up. Paying attention, not poking eachother, not flashing us their diaper/underwear, hats on, not crying. Guess how many pictures it took to get these?

22.

Easter Bunny

It was as awesome as it looks.

Adam had his 6 month appointment on Friday and did great. He started out pretty happy, but got a bit frustrated when the doctor was running late. I hate it when that happens too.He weighed only 20 lbs (90%) and was 28.5 inches (97%). He got all his shots and we don't have to go back for 3 months.
Hannah and Layla got to practice egg hunting at Grandma's today. It was very cute. They already have more candy than they can handle.

We had some happy play time today with Adam which was nice since he spent most of the weekend crying. His belly is acting up and we have no idea why. We have 5 guesses so we are taking away everything and hoping he recovers soon.

We are all looking forward to Easter next weekend and having 3 days off. We are going to attempt to see the Bunny which should be a riot. Layla already knows she wants nothing to do with a 6 foot bunny.....unless he is giving out chocolate.
