Grant's Farm

Hannah had a field trip to Grant's Farm today. It was so nice that Matt and I both took off the morning and took Layla with us. It was a great day. These animals are not afraid of humans. Our tram actually had to stop because they were all too close to us for their safety.

Here's Bud. It was a very good show.

We aren't brave enough to go into the goat pen, so we feed goats from outside the fence. It worked out well.

The girls loved their day out. We left Adam at home with Jeanna since he is too little to enjoy it and needs a nap still. He'll get his very own post this weekend.

Finally a nice day.

It was a beautiful day to swim and play at Grandma's yesterday. The girls have discovered the joy of jumping in. Layla does this with her eyes open which is funny to see.
Everyone is doing ok at our house. Adam is starting to eat more table foods and is loving them. We cut out one bottle this week in hopes that he will start drinking some juice from a cup. He is getting to be such a big boy.

Pictures of the week

Tired girls before bedtime. Not tired baby before bedtime.
Playing games.

Loving his newfound freedom.
The girls had a lemonade stand this week. They loved it. It cost $7 and they made about $1 but it was well worth it. Hannah is so proud of the money she earned and they love lemonade!
Adam is so fun these days, but is hard to keep up with. He is all over and pulling up on everything. He falls often which is sad, but it is just part of the age. He had his first oreo this week and he loved it. He is starting to get little bits of regular food and we know he will make the switch gladly.

We took everyone to the park on Saturday. Adam enjoyed the swings when he wasn't trying to get down. He really really wanted to eat some mulch.

We tried to get a good picture of the three of them, but our best shots are here.
and here. I love the way you can see Matt and I trying to get everone to look in the reflection of the door.

Fully mobile baby

9 months and 13 days......

Although he has been moving for quite some time, Adam got the regular 4 point crawl down today. He is very happy with his new skill. He has been trying to practice in his crib for a few days which makes sleeping very hard. It's time to drop the crib down though because he is already trying to pull up. We are in trouble now.

First Snaps Experience

Giggly baby.

More Giggles.

Long 4th of July weekend

We had a 4 day weekend over the 4th of July. It is about as close as we are coming to a vacation this year. We had a good time. The girls enjoyed the fireworks that Daddy did on Friday evening and they really liked the poppers.

Saturday, we went to Grandma and Papa's. Hannah swam for hours despite the drizzle and cool temps. She enjoyed the firework show that Papa and Uncle Steve put on, but mostly she loved spending time with her friend Sophia. I brought the babies home for a regular bedtime again this year. Maybe next year I will get braver.

Piniata for Noah's birthday.
We had a lot of family time on Sunday and the kids were pretty cute.

Hannah was pretty tired. She was zonked out for 2 hours.
Mall playground. It was rainy and the kids needed some space. The mall always comes through.
Really cute tub pictures.Check out my blue eyes!

and my curly hair that mom can not tame.Silly Girl.I love the way he is looking at her. He loves his sissy. And splashy time. I get very wet.

The girls and I went to the community pool on Monday. It was awesome, but I didn't take pictures since I was manning two kids by myself (in a giant aquadic park). They really enjoyed the slides and the fun water play area. We will have to go again when Daddy can join us.
That's it - our weekend was great.
