Directly following the best sledding day ever...

Adam got an ear infection. Since then, we have been up to a whole lot of nothing. He is better after a week of not sleeping well. Matt and I are still recovering. We did make a cool living room fort and we did take Adam to get his hair cut. He kicked and screamed and did not allow his hair to be cut. It was a bit embarrasing.

We went back later in the day, just Adam and I, and he was ready. We trimmed his hair, for the 5th time. We do love those curls.

We have had our fair share of dance parties and playtime recently. Now that soccer is over and the weather is bad, we just don't have a lot going on. We are looking forward to an awesome home day tomorrow while it ices and snows. I would bet our day involves a fort. And some dancing.

p.s. Adam was wearing the same shirt on Saturday and Monday. He loves shirts with balls on them.

Best sledding day ever.

We headed out this morning for the best sledding day ever. The weather is perfect for sledding. It is not too cold (27ish), sunny, and not windy. We bundled everone up in record time and were at the hill by 10. We spent more than an hour having a blast! Everyone participated (even me!). I don't have snowpants or boots so I was soaked, but it was worth it.
Layla held on tight her first trip down with Dad, but after that she was not scared at all.

Adam loved it and called it sliding the whole day.

Hannah was awesome and rode with her sister and brother when mom or dad needed a break.

It was just a really fun morning for us. We might even head back tomorrow!

A January to Remember.

Hannah lost her first tooth last week. It was the bottom right. The left one is loose now. She was so excited to have finally lost one of her tiny teeth and was even more excited for the tooth fairy to come. She got $5 (which is now lost), but it was fun to see her so happy.

This weekend we had a great time with our cousins. The kids were very good and had an awesome time. We did a lot of dancing and playing and took a trip to the bounce house on Sunday. It was good to see them play so well and enjoy eachother. The adults even got a chance to have dinner on Saturday.
