We took the girls for a quick trip to Chicago to see my nephew baptized. My girls were awesome and with the exception of not sleeping well, were pretty perfect the whole trip. They were quiet in church except when Layla announced she had to potty. It was a private ceremony so not too embarrasing.
We went straight to the after party where the little girls lasted about an hour.
We were well past naptime now and they were just too tired to hang.
Uncle Matt took them back to rest while we stayed and mingled.
We stayed the night and Layla slept pretty well, but miss Hannah was up almost all night. She just could not sleep well. In the morning we had a bit more playtime and then we were off. We needed to get back to our little man, but not before Layla got to hold the baby.
This summer we will get all 5 kids together for some playtime. It's going to be some fun years!
